Paranoia Engine
Trust Nothing. Not Even Your Own Weapons.
In this physics-driven survival experience, the environment is hostile, your mind is slipping, and your own weapons are actively trying to kill you.
- Treacherous Arsenal: Pick up a gun from the wrong end? It shoots you. Hold the trigger for too long? Expect severe recoil retaliation.
- Sound-Sensitive Threats: Every dropped object, sprint step, or gunshot echoes through the dark. Enemies respond to every sound you make, making quiet movement essential. (Thats why there is no SFX)
- Shadows & Paranoia: As night falls and shadows lengthen, your paranoia spikes. Your vision distorts, hallucinations kick in, and hand tremors turn item manipulation into pure chaos.
CONTROLS
- Left Click: Pick up / Hold object
- Right Click: Throw held item
- Hold R + Mouse: Rotate held object
- F: Pick up item directly to inventory
- I / TAB: Open / Close inventory
- Left Click (In Inventory): Drag item
- Right Click (In Inventory): Drop item from inventory
- Shift: Sprint
- Ctrl: Walk slowly
A QUICK NOTE FROM THE DEV
- Silence is Golden (Literally no sound): There are zero sound effects. Not because I wanted a deep "cinematic silent horror" vibe, but because I ran out of time. Feel free to make your own pew pew noises!
- Guns That Shoot You: Holding the gun wrong and getting shot is a feature. Everything else that looks weird? Let's just call it a "hallucination caused by low sanity" (definitely not rushed code).
- Missing Details: I had AAA-level plans, but a 7-day timer had other ideas.
Enjoy the chaotic physics, don't shoot yourself, and remember: trust no one—especially not this build!
